The Opportunity

For the second issue of JOKER/HARLEY: CRIMINAL SANITY, superstar artist Mike Mayhew had to leave.

DC Comics Editor Kristy Quinn asked me to take his place and co-draw the book with legendary artist, Mico Suayan.

Then Kristy dropped her second bombshell...

I had no idea if I could do it.

So of course I said...

YES

I went on to do all the layouts- which is the process of adapting New York Times best selling author, Kami Garcia's script onto the page.

What if the Joker was real?

We had a psychiatrist helping us make the book the most forensically and psychiatrically accurate take on the Joker and Harley Quinn possible.
